Tailsfilm present a series of ten monographic documentaries on contemporary art drawing a map of Italian aesthetic research through the accounts of some of the most articulate representatives over three generations, from post-war to current trends.

We enter the studios, houses and places that are dear to each artist, we follow their preparation and installation of exhibitions in some of the most important museums, but above all we gather traces of thought processes which reveal to the public new paths of meaning and understanding in the labyrinth of modernity.

The artists are: Giulio Paolini, Jannis Kounellis, Fabio Mauri, Gilberto Zorio, Remo Salvadori, Pietro Fortuna, Marco Bagnoli, Vedovamazzei, Stefano Arienti, Grazia Toderi.

The entire series acquired by museums;
MAXXI, Rome - GAM of Turin - GAMeC of Bergamo - Palazzo Fortis, Verona – GSA, Glasgow,Scotland.

Screened at the Festival dei Popoli of Florence and Artecinema of Naples- American Accademy of Rome and in various dedicated events

Jannis Kounellis won: 
Ricciolo d’Oro at the ArtDocFest of Rome in June 2005 - Prize of the Public at the Bos’art fest, Sardinia - 25th FIFA festival of Montreal.
